

Yes! Because users occasionally make mistakes, studies with incorrect patient name or ID are sent to PACS. Connect Imaging provides a way to correct these errors—and with HIPAA logging, the corrections are recorded.
Why it matters: The alternatives are totally unsatisfactory. They include leaving the study with the errors in the PACS, or creating a second copy of the study with corrected information. Both waste space and can lead to confusion, or failure to locate a prior study for comparison.
