• Allows retrieval of studies from archive for correction of DICOM header information.
• Saves backup copy of all studies processed for offsite storage, as required by HIPAA regulations.
• Validates patient ID and/or name with information stored in the SQL database before images are sent to archive.
• Checks for presence of data in required header fields. Header fields requiring data are configurable by the user.
• Enables transferring of data from one DICOM header field location to another.
• Studies that fail prevalidation are stored in a local database. Header fields can be modified by the operator before the study is sent to FileRoom. After correction, the DICOM header fields of the studies are updated with the changes.
