Description

Ease of access by referring physicians, whether to request a study or to view a report, helps to build your referral base. With the Connect Imaging RIS Web Portal, referring physicians can request a study via their web connect, see the status of the study as it is being performed, then view the report and images for the study when the study is complete and report signed. Only patient studies for which the physician is listed as the referring physician are viewable, minimizing issues with HIPAA compliance. The studies that can be requested by the RIS Web Portal can be restricted as part of the RIS Web Portal configuration.
