Description

RIS scheduling empowers the radiology staff to maximize their effectiveness. Orders from the Hospital Information System, patients calling on the phone, and order requests from the web portal can all easily and quickly be scheduled to maximize the product time of expensive imaging modalities.Patient demographic information can be added on the fly as the patient is being scheduled. Scheduled appointment times can be moved or lengthened through drag-and-drop or simple mouse clicks. If a patient is scheduled for multiple procedures, an alert is readily seen so the patient is not sent home before all the procedures are completed. Finally, if the appointment is missed, a single mouse click removes the appointment, but keeps all the information for the appointment when it is rescheduled.
