Description

Sonographers working in obstetrics often have special workflow needs, and Connect Imaging has the software to exactly fulfill those needs. The ViewBox Input Station can be place next to the ultrasound machine in the exam room. As the sonographer acquires images, the ultrasound machine sends them to the VIS for immediate review. The sonographer can review the study, deleting images and adding other ones, before sending the study to the physician for review. Finally, the sonographer can send a burn job of the exam, containing images and movies in both DICOM and commercial format, to a centralized CD burn station to provide a keepsake for the patient of the examination.
